The ÖBB nightjets are night trains operated by Austrian Railways. They run on a number routes in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Belgium. They consist of modern sleeping cars offering standard and deluxe compartments, couchette cars and 2nd class compartments. Many trains convey car carriers. Several trains offer compartments for passengers with reduced mobility, family compartments and convey bicycles.

"Comfortline" sleeping cars regular compartments with up to three beds are available on most routes. These sleeping cars offer Economy cabins (with a washbasin; WC and shower at the end of the carriage) and Deluxe cabins (with WC, shower, washbasin ensuite). They are running on all routes except Vienna - Zurich.

"Double-deck" sleeping cars with two-bed compartments are available on the Vienna - Zurich and Zurich - Berlin - Hamburg route. They offer Economy cabins (with a washbasin; WC at the end of the carriage) and Deluxe cabins (with WC, shower, washbasin ensuite).

Couchette cars have compartments with either six or four bunk beds; toilets and lavatory are available at the end of the carriage.

Regular 2nd class have compartments with six seats; toilets are available at the end of the carriage.

Breakfast is included for passengers in sleeping and couchette cars. Snacks and drinks are available from the train staff.
